Interview with Robert Scoble

January 1, 2010

Over the holidays, we met with Robert Scoble, Building 43 from Rackspace Hosting, to discuss the future of sporting events with technologies such as mobile augmented reality and share a brief demonstration of the EYEPLY service for his YouTube channel. Topics discussed were: Game data filtering and progress with movement tracking, EYEPLY’s media network, and more.

Lester Madden, Augmented Planet, picked up on this interview and included further commentary on its subjects and the EYEPLY service. Lester has spent the past 15 years helping build world-class technology solutions for brands such as Microsoft and Skype, and is currently a Developer Marketing Manager at Symbian. A fellow AR evangelist and fan of sport, Lester agrees, “The data is there, the question is how do you make that information available and useful to be consumed by the public.”

The interview with Robert Scoble can be viewed below, and the full story from Augmented Planet is here.
